Our Purpose<\/h2>\n

The Corporaci\u00f3n Imagina Quind\u00edo<\/strong> aims, from an equity perspective, to contribute to the integral development of children, adolescents and young people of population groups with socioeconomic problems, through all kinds of actions that tend to the development and growth of the fullness of their welfare; this through educational, artistic, sports, recreational, cultural and environmental activities. In addition to academic accompaniment, public policy management, financial management and entrepreneurship; training in trades, business, professional and talents; as well as psychosocial intervention of this population, their families and their environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Smile!<\/p>\n\n\nAt Imagina<\/strong> we are convinced that, as members of society, we have a concrete responsibility to contribute to the realization of a more just and supportive world. We intend to do so by helping to generate a social imaginary based on the \u00abPedagogy of Love\u00bb<\/strong> , which contributes to see the other human being as one equal to me, while recognizing the nuances and forms of his or her life. In fact, we start from the slogan: \u00abthe other, another me\u00bb; this imaginary is built with a specific didactic, in which all of us (volunteers, support staff, families, beneficiary children) internalize the principle through the small actions we perform every day.\nThis awareness of the small daily actions allows us to gradually change the concept of responsibility, work and social assistance, which in many cases is understood as assistance and generates asymmetrical relationships. In this case, a social imaginary is generated based on the value of reciprocity in relationships, producing an awareness of fraternity. As a consequence, the views of both benefactors and beneficiaries change, which makes us see ourselves as a single team in which each one works from the perspective of being able to contribute, in order to contribute to the construction and visibility of the great human family.
